Staff Report

The West Orange-Stark Mustangs and the Bridge City Cardinals of Dist. 21-3A will represent Orange County in the Region III bi-district round of the playoffs beginning on Friday.

The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears had a great season under second year head coach Randy Crouch and staff. They needed a win against the Nederland Bulldogs Friday night to make their first playoff appearance since 1997. Nederland won the right to advance defeating LCM 40-15.

Class 3A Div. II:

The West Orange-Stark (7-2, 5-0) will take on Dist. 22 Liberty (5-5, 4-2), Friday at Provost Umphrey Stadium.

The Bridge City Cardinals (7-3, 3-2) will face Dist. 22 Coldspring (8-1, 5-0) likely at Huffman.
