Mrs. Ida. Bougard, 85, of Orange passed away on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 at her residence.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 8 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Dorman Funeral Home. A Funeral Service this morning at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Zoch officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City .
She was a native of Silsbee and born on Dec. 27, 1924 to the late George H. Ramey and Ida (Ritter) Ramey. She had lived in the Orange area since 1940 and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Orange . She enjoyed collecting recipes and cooking. She was very active with animal rights, the Human Society and PETA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan P. Bougard; daughter, Renee Borel; sister, Maxine Ramey; and brother, George Ramey.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Harrison and her husband Robert of Orange; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great grandchildren on the way. She is also survived by numerous extended family members.
