Bridge City High School hosted a brief ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on November 11. As part of its ongoing Traditions Project

focused on celebrating the honors and accomplishments of its students

over the years.

Bridge City High School, in conjunction with the BCHS

Alumni Association, dedicated a beautiful bronze plaque honoring all

former students of Bridge City High School who have gone on to serve in

the United States Military.

The plaque will be permanently displayed at

the entrance to the campus library. High School principal Richard Briggs

and BCHS Alumni Association president Ella Stuebing spoke on the

significance of Veterans Day and thanked all veterans for their service

to our country.

Ms. Stuebing and Oscar Lyons (1958 BCHS Graduate and

Air Force veteran) did the honors of unveiling the plaque for the those

in attendance.
