Bridge City Orangefield community Christmas basket sign-up
Christmas Baskets will be given to indigent Bridge City and Orangefield residents who are age 60+ or disable with an income below poverty. Sign – Up will take place at the Ministerial Alliance building next to First Baptist Church of Bridge City  between Nov. 30 – Dec. 1 and Dec. 6 – 8 from 9 from noon.
Eligibility depends on proof of income. You must present a utility bill to verify address and have an ID of all family members.
Donations are needed for this program to continue.
Any business, church, individual, or organization may make a donation to the account of Bridge City Orangefield Ministerial Alliance Christmas Basket Fund at the Bridge City Bank.

Pie fundraiser for Solid Rock Church
Homemade Thanksgiving pies will be sold as a fundraiser for the Solid Rock Church. The pies available are 10” sweet potato, apple and peach, $8 each, or 10” pecan pies, $12. Also available is walnut or pecan candy, $2.50 each. All orders must be placed by Wednesday, Nov. 24. Call Dorothy at 409-221-7873.

BC/OF Ministerial Alliance to host Thanksgiving celebration on Nov. 28
The Bridge City/ Orangefield Ministerial Alliance would like to invite the community to join together for a Thanksgiving Celebration Service.  The service will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 3 p.m. 
The speaker for the service with be the Rev. Brad Morgan from St. Paul Methodist Church. The Rev. Robert Hargrave from Fellowship Baptist Church and the Rev. Bobby Hoffpauier from Second Baptist Church, Bridge City, will allso be participating. 
Music specials will be presented by Bruce Wright and Megan Croakere from Liberty Baptist Church, Alex Hargrave from First Baptist Church in Bridge City and Darlene Kelone from Fellowship Baptist Church.
Fellowship Baptist Church is located at 1965 Miller Dr. (FM 408) in Bridge City.  The community is invited to join them to sing songs of Thanksgiving and praises for God’s blessings.

First Baptist Church of Orange to serve refreshments at parade
First Baptist Church of Orange will be serving hot chocolate and popcorn during the Orange Jaycees’ Christmas Parade, Friday, Dec. 3. Salem UMC to host Christmas Cantata
Salem United Methodist Church will hold its Christmas Cantata Sunday, Dec. 12, at 5 p.m.
The program will feature contemporary gospel music and a Christmas musical entitled “The Perfect Gift”.
The concert is free to the public and refreshments will be served.
