Rosa Maria Lozano Escobedo, 70, of West Orange, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010 at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont. Funeral services to remember her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 29, 2010 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange with Reverend Jeff Bell, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres, officiating. 

Interment will follow in Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange.   A gathering of family and friends for a time of reflection will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Born on June 12, 1940 in McAllen, Texas to her parents, Benjamin Lozano, Sr. and Emma (Garcia) Lozano, she was a longtime resident of the Orange area, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many who was loved very much, she enjoyed eating spicy food, she was very attached to her cell phone and she was a homemaker.

Rosa Maria is preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter, Jean Marie Comeaux and her granddaughter, Felicity Starr Hagan.

Those who will most cherish her memory are her husband, Roberto Escobedo of West Orange; her daughters, Cynthia Hebert and husband, Anthony of Jennings, Louisiana, Elizabeth Sandoval and husband, Encapnacion of Orange, Jane Annie Comeaux of Jennings, Rosa Cisneros of Orange, Tammy Norwood of Orange and Donna Hagan and husband, Roy of Orange; numerous brothers and sisters; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Efrain Ramirez, Eric Lozano, Jose Delafuente, Corey Hebert, Efren Lozano and Anthony Hebert. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Bergeron and Roy Hagan, II.
