As I grow as a person and pursue my goals in life, it is my hope that I will make a positive impact on society and the people in my life. For now, however, I will continue to serve my family, my friends and my God. I hope to become a better artist by the end of this year, and to be ranked number 10 in my graduating class. I plan to get a job before I go to college so I can build work ethic and meet new people.”
Claris Collins, science department chairperson said “I had the pleasure of teaching Rachel in Chemistry I Honors. She was so eager to learn and went the extra mile to succeed. Her bubbly personality and bright smile always brightened my day. Rachel is very deserving of the honor of Science Department Student of the Month.”

Joseph Blanda, in the biology department, said “Rachel Vaughn is one of the hardest working 12th grade students that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Always happy and never complaining, she is always willing to help a fellow student. Her great attitude has earned her the right to be Student of the Month.”
