James “Hank” Sexton
James “Hank” Henry Sexton 77, of Orange passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont after a hard fight with lung disease.
He was born on Sept. 2, 1933 in Roger Spring, Tenn. to Jesse and Lillian Sexton, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Carol and his two sisters, Ida Smith and Frances Smith. Hank served his country in the United States Navy from 1951 until 1954. He retired from U.S. Steel-American Bridge division in Gary , Indiana and Orange , Texas . He also retired from Little Cypress Mauriceville School District.
Hank is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Sexton; step children, Chalmers Olah, Leanne Lycgany; granddaughters, Hope Patterson, Susan Miksa; great granddaughter, Amelia Miksa; nieces and nephews, Donna Thompson, Alice Tosh, Charlie Smith, Kerry Smith, and Renee Fishier. He is also survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Susan Sexton.
He was a loving and generous family man who will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.
