Marjorie N. Dearmond, 72, of Mauriceville passed away on Sunday, Jan. 2, at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 4, from 4 pm until 8 pm at Dorman Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 10 am at Community Church in Orange, with Pastor David Berkheimer officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens near Bridge City.

She was a native of Dustin, Oklahoma; born on August 27, 1938 to parents Mildred (Scott) Clark and Orval Robison. She was a life long resident of Orange, graduating from Stark High School where she was a member of the Bengal Guards. She retired from DuPont after 27 years employment as a secretary and she was very active with Community Church in Orange. She enjoyed listening to music and playing the piano for several of the churches in the area. Her great joy in life was spending time with her loving family who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Mike Pence.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Elliott and husband Kenny of Orange, Dana Dearmond of Orange; sons, David Pence and wife Glenda of Nederland, Steve Pence of Orange; sister, Judy Owens of Orange; grandchildren, Lea Williams, Lindsey Pence, Victoria Elliott, Valen Elliott, Erin Dorsett and husband Michael, Amy Denton, and husband Brandon, Travis Pence and wife Misty,

Daniel Pence, Christopher Williamson, Slade Williamson, Ashtin Williamson, Madelyn Gerlach, Ruston Linscomb and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Slade Williamson, Christopher Williamson, Daniel Pence, Travis Pence, Brandon Denton and Michael Dorsett.
