Between Dec. 20 and Jan. 3, the Pinehurst Police Officers responded to 14 calls:

On Dec. 20, Officer Brian Foley was dispatched to 3801 Pheasant #69 in reference to a burglary of a residence. A white female reported that someone entered her residence and removed a 42” Toshiba television that she had recently purchased from a local rent-to-own company.

On Dec. 20, Officer Brian Foley was dispatched to the Parole Office located at 851 Dal Sasso in reference to warrant service. Harry Alexander Jr., a 51 year-old black male was arrested for an outstanding parole warrant.

On Dec. 22, Officer Brian Foley was dispatched to a retail store in the 2400 block of Macarthur Drive in reference to theft. A black male identified as Clarence Brown, 52 years of age, was found to be in possession of items taken from the store. He also had an outstanding parole violation warrant. He was placed under arrest and transported to the jail for booking.

On Dec. 25, Officer Mike Dempsey responded to the 3800 block of Pheasant in reference to a disturbance. Upon arriving he learned that a black female had been sexually assaulted at that location. She was transported to a Beaumont hospital for treatment.

On Dec. 26, Officer Mike Dempsey responded to the 3800 block of Pheasant in reference to criminal mischief. A black female reported that unknown persons punctured the tired of her vehicle.

On Dec. 27, Officer Blakeney was dispatched to the 3700 block of Nightingale in reference to theft of checks. A white male reported that someone had stolen a book of blank checks from his residence and passed them at various locations in Orange,

On Dec. 28, Officer Blakeney conducted a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Martin Street in Pinehurst. The driver of the vehicle was found to have 14 outstanding warrants issued by Justice of the peace precinct 4 and Vidor Municipal Court. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Orange County Jail.

On Dec. 28, Officer Blakeney of the Pinehurst Police Dept. was dispatched to 3801 Pheasant #63 in reference to a disturbance. A white female reported that she had been assaulted by her husband following an argument. She refused to file charges but asked that he leave the residence. A report was filed.

On Dec. 28, Officer Blakeney received a report of a stolen vehicle license plate that occurred in the 1600 block of King Arthur Court.

On Dec. 29, Officer Mike Dempsey was dispatched to a floral shop in the 100 block of Strickland Drive in reference to theft. It was reported that a 10’ by 10’ chain link fence enclosure was stolen from the rear of the business.

On Friday, Dec. 31, Officer Leonard Roff of the Pinehurst Police Department, was dispatched to a business in the 2100 block of N. 35th Street, in reference to Burglary of a Building. It was reported that unknown persons entered the building and stolen food items.

On Dec. 31, Officer Leonard Roff was dispatched to the police station in reference to burglary that occurred in the 3600 block of Optimist Way. A white female reported that someone entered her unlocked apartment and removed her purse.

On Jan. 1, Officer Leonard Roff conducted a traffic stop in the 3900 block of West Park. The driver, David Roy Bergeaux, a 32 year-old white male was subsequently arrested for twelve outstanding warrants issued by the Pinehurst Municipal Court, two warrants issued by J.P. # 2, and 1 warrant issued by the Vidor Municipal Court. He was transported to the Orange County Jail for booking.

On Jan. 1, Officer Brian Foley conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Strickland after the driver narrowly missed striking his marked patrol car. The driver, Freddy Rivera, a 23 year-old white male, could not produce a driver’s license. Rivera was placed under arrest for fail to yield right of way and no driver’s license. He was transported to the Orange County Jail.

On Jan. 3, Officer Mike Dempsey was dispatched to the parole office located at 851 Dal Sasso Drive in reference to warrant service. Bradley Gilliam, a 36 year-old white male was placed under arrest for an outstanding parole warrant and transported to the jail for booking.
