The Little Cypress-Mauriceville high school swim team brought home

winning medals recently. The meet was held at the Beaumont Independent

School District Thomas Center Natatorium on Tuesday.

Dorman, won the district championship in the 200 yard freestyle and the

100 yard backstroke.

Senior Cassey Brown, district champion in the 500 yard freestyle swimming a lifetime best of 6:01.21. She also finished 3rd in the 100 yard backstroke.

Freshman Ivy Casteel, district champion in the 100 yard freestyle. She also finished 3rd in the 50 yard freestyle.

Freshman Savannah Sheppard finished 4th in the 500 yard freestyle and 6th in the 50 yard freestyle

Freshman Tricia Newman finished 5th in the 100 yard breaststroke and 8th in the 50 yard freestyle

Freshman Taylor Swarers finished 3rd in the 100 yard butterfly and 7th in the 100 yard backstroke

Freshman Kenedie King finished 5th in the 100 yard freestyle and 7th in the 100 yard breaststroke

LC-M’s girls 200 yard medley relay team finished 2nd.
