Two suspects arrested in Orange burglary
Sunday January 30, 2011 at approximately 4:45AM, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a call concerning a burglary at a residence in the 400 block of Woodfern Dr. in Orange. The homeowner advised that several guns had been stolen from the residence and also a GPS system was also stolen. The homeowner advised that the suspects had just left the residence in a Gray Dodge Truck heading toward Old Hwy 90.
Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle and stopped it in the 8500 block of Old Hwy 90.
The driver of the truck was identified as CHADWICK ALAN MCMILLEN, a 23 year old Orange resident. The passenger was identified as JEREMIAH DEAN, a 29 year old Vidor resident. There were several guns and a GPS system in the truck. The homeowner was contacted and came to the location and positively identified the guns and GPS system as belonging to him.
Both suspects were arrested for Burglary of a Habitation and transported to the Orange County Correctional Facility. Bond has been set at $20,000 on both suspects. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is conducting the Investigation.
