Gail Thierheimer Owen, 70, our beloved Wife, Mom, and Granny, joined her Lord in Heaven on Tuesday, Feb. 15.

She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 15, 1940, to Alloys and Catherine Thierheimer.

She graduated from Lutcher Stark High School and later from Orange Memorial Hospital as a radiology technologist. In 1960 she met and married the love of her life, Ercil Owen. Together they made their home in Orange where they raised three sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Alloys and Catherine Thierheimer, and her beloved brother Terry Theirhiemer.

Left with precious memories are her loving husband of 50 years Ercil Owen, her children Greg and Liz Owen of Orange, Tommy & Sandra Owen of Vidor, and John & Liz Owen of Orlando.

She is also proud grandparent of four grandchildren: Amber Raley, Katrina Owen, Christy Owen, Chase Owen. Also two great grandchildren: Haleigh Lacaze, Cameron Lacaze.

She will be missed by her sister Lois Hastings and brother-in-law Bill Hastings, sister-in-law Frances Thierheimer, along with numerous family members, friends, and neighbors.

A gathering of family and friends for a rosary will be at 6:30PM Sunday at Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville. Funeral services to remember her life will be Monday 10:00am at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Kirbyville, with interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Orange.

Honoring Gail as pallbearers will be her sons, Greg Owen, Tommy Owen, John Owen, grandson Chase Owen, nephew Mark Hasting, and nephew Bill Hastings.
