That wasn’t a wallet in the road
What a driver thought was a wallet turned out to be something all together different Thursday morning. Sherrye Henry was driving South in the 100 block of 10th street, when she saw what appeared to be a wallet in the road.
Henry stopped and picked up the case and opened it to see what was inside. She found it to be five yellow Remington 20 gauge shotgun shells and 50 R-P 380 automatic live rounds.
Henry took the case with the ammunition to the Orange Police Department and turned it in to Officer Tyson. The property was tagged and put into a locker for safe keeping.
