Orange, Texas – The 9th Annual Art in the Park Festival will be held in Downtown Orange on March 26, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists and crafters will line up along the inside and outside edges of Stark Park on Green Avenue for a day of display, demo and selling of artworks. Local, area and regional participants tend to enjoy this early season outdoor event. Jim Boone’s Jazz Quartet, Jimbo’s Dixieland Revue and Cypress will be performing on stage beginning at 9 a.m.

Participants have registered from areas across Texas as well as Louisiana and Oklahoma. A group of Tae Kwon Do students will offer a display of their talents at 1:30 p.m. The barbershop quartet, Harmony Exporters, will stroll thru Stark Park to entertain the artists and spectators. Food vendors will offer tasty snacks from burgers and dogs to funnel cakes with many other choices also available to refresh everyone. Kid?s Alley offers children hands-on activities they may take home.
