Eva Jane Granger, 86, of Orangefield, passed away Thursday, March 17, at Renaissance Hospital in Groves.

Services to remember her life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow services in the Ovie Granger Cemetery between Orangefield and Vidor in the Duncan Woods community.

Born on May 28, 1924 in Orangefield to her parents, Albert Granger and Winnie (Slade) Granger, she was a lifelong resident of the Orange area, she worked as a caregiver caring for the elderly and she was a member of the Harvest Chapel Church in West Orange. Ms. Granger was a very caring and quiet lady who stayed to herself and she enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her three sons: Bennie A. Gallier, Marion Francis Gallier and Leroy Gallier. Most cherishing of her memory are her six grandchildren, her numerous great grandchildren and her two great great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous members of her extended family.
