Rosemary (Clasby) Humble, 69, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 15, at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Orange. Father Joseph P. Daleo will be the celebrant.

Rite of committal will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Orange. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Sunday at Dorman Funeral Home in Orange with a rosary/ wake service to be held at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Deacon Harvey DuBois, officiating.

Born on May 15, 1941 in Orange, to her parents, Matthew Edgar Clasby and Claudia Mary (Funchess) Clasby, she lived in Cleveland for the last four years and had lived previously in Houston and in Orange. Rosemary was of the catholic faith and was a homemaker. Rosemary was a kind and loving lady, who enjoyed taking care of children, helping to support charities and she loved animals, especially her dog, Mini.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lutcher Lloyd Humble and her nephew, John Clasby, Jr.

Cherishing her memory most are her daughters, Mary Diane Lilyquist and husband, Sam of Orange and Laura Humble Moore and husband, Dade of Cleveland; her sons, Walter Mochel and wife, Elodia of LaPorte and Steve Humble and wife, Rie of Tokyo, Japan; her sister, Susan Ann Bayliss and husband, Billy of Orange; her brothers, Matthew Clasby, Jr. and wife, Linda of Orange and Johnny Clasby and wife, Patricia of Orange.

Her six grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as May May, Dade Patrick, Steven, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Matthew and Heather as well as her great grandson, Isaiah.

Rosemary is also survived by numerous members of her extended family.
