Saturday was the annual Art in the Park held each year in Stark Park on Green Avenue in Orange. The air was not to hot and not too cold and wind was a minimum with an occasional gust. There was one rain clould in the sky, but not a drop on the ground for the whole day.

As always, the different entities of the Stark Foundation had activities for children. They could color pictures of the Stark House. At Shangri La’s booth they could make rubbings of different kinds of leaves and learn of upcoming events.

There were paintings, sculptures, woodcarving, jewelry, books and one women makes crosses from found beach glass and colored wire.

The Orange Fire Department was on hand with their large remote control fire engine with Sparky, the Fire Department mascot, driving.

Most of the artists are local to Orange County, but there were a few from out of state and Houston.
