Judy Sartor, 58, of Deweyville, passed away Wednesday, March 30, at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Services to remember her life will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 3, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange.

Officiating will be Brother John Fortenberry. Interment will follow in the Doyle Cemetery in Starks, La. A gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Born on June 9, 1952 in Cleburne, Texas to her parents, Volley Garland Sartor and Sarah Elizabeth (Ford) Sartor, she was a longtime resident of Southeast Texas and had also lived in Waco. Judy was of the Baptist faith, she enjoyed crafts, had a love of animals and she worked as a pet groomer.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert “Buddy Bartholomew; her two infant sisters and her nephew, Grady Paul Sartor, Jr.

Cherishing her memory most are her daughter, Sally Sartor of Deweyville; her brothers, Paul Sartor of Deweyville, David Sartor and wife, Donna of Waco and John Sartor and wife, Cathy of Waco. Judy is also survived by numerous extended family.

Honoring Judy as pallbearers are Shawn Sartor, Travis Sartor, Michael Sartor, Paul Sartor, Steven “Sidewinder” Florura and Dallas Elmore.
