Pat Clark officially retired yesterday, March 31, as District Court Judge and was officially sworn in as County Court at Law this at 10 a.m. this morning.

Clark decided to be sworn in at his home so that his wife, Rosalie, could be there with him.

County Judge Carl Thibodeaux swore Clark in and Antoinette Peveto and Sharon Bearden were present as witnesses to the event.

Thibodeaux made a motion at Commissioners’ Court on March 7 to offer the County Court at Law Position to Clark. In order to accept the offer, Clark needed to resign from the District Court seat, which he held for 31 years.
