BRIDGE CITY — Bridge City State Bank Board of Directors has announced the election of Scott A. Hale as President/C.E.O. The vote became effective April 1. Jerry Davidson, President and C.E.O. since 1985, will continue his tenure as Chairman of

the Board.

Hale is a graduate of South Park High School, Beaumont and received his

B.B.A. from Lamar University in l987. He and his wife, Kim and their two

children currently reside in Fannett and are looking forward to their

move to Orange County.

He joined the Bridge City State Bank in 2006 from Gulf Coast Bank, Winnie, as Senior Vice President of commercial loans and residential construction. Hale has had previous experience in business banking with Community Bank, Prime Bank of Beaumont, and Wells Fargo Bank of Orange. Hale previously held office as Executive Vice President and serves on the Board of Directors of Bridge City State Bank.

With 26 years of Texas banking experience, Hale has served the communities well holding officer and board positions with neighboring Chamber of Commerce’s, Beaumont Rotary Club, Winnie Optimist Club, and Orange Kiwanis Club. Since joining Bridge City State Bank, Hale has been active with Relay for Life and served on the board of the Orange County United Way where he held the position of President for the term of 2010-2011.
