The region consists of numerous stores throughout the Houston and Southeast Texas area. Several criteria were used to determine the winner–financial performance, customer satisfaction and community involvement.

Financially, the Bridge City store exceeded all of last year’s numbers. Bridge City Walmart consistently scores in the top one percent of the over 3,500 stores in the U.S. in customer surveys.

The associates and management have sponsored and worked for Relay for Life, Beaumont Rotary Soapbox Derby, First Tee, Bridge City Chamber, is a corporate sponsor for Student of the Month for Bridge City and Orangefield High School, Fighting Hunger, Blue Santa, Project Graduation and numerous others.

“Winning the award was made possible due to the hard work and dedication of the associates and management of  the Bridge City Walmart,” said Sullivan. “It was also due to the strong and consistent support of the community who have been faithful shoppers through hurricanes, floods and remodels.

“I would just like to say congratulations to the greatest group of associates I have ever had the honor of working with. I would also like to thank the community for your support in making us your Walmart,” said Sullivan.
