Orange home robbed of valuable coins

Wednesday afternoon, Officer Caleb Davis with the Orange Police Dept. responded to a call in the 800 block of Center, in reference to burglary of a habitation. Upon arrival, Officer Davis made contact with the victim, Donna Chisum.
Chisum told police that an unknown suspect had forced their way into her residence. The back door of the residence had been kicked in for the suspect to gain entry. The door had been secured, but removed from the door jamb.
The victim told police that the only items of value missing was $300 worth of gold coins. The coins are U.S. patented $1 gold pieces.
Chisum stated that she wishes to file charges if the suspect is identified and located.
