Pinehurst Police Beat
Officers from the Pinehurst Police Department responded to the following calls between April 1, and the morning of April 5:
On 04/01/2011, Officer Foley conducted a traffic stop in the 2300 block of 41st St. in Pinehurst. The driver a 51 yr old white male identified as Bruce Wesley Collins, was subsequently placed under arrest for outstanding warrants out of Vidor.
On 04/01/2011, Officer Dempsey responded to a business in the 2400 block of MacArthur Dr. in reference to a Robbery. He met with the victim a white male, who stated that a black male assaulted him and took his money, then left the area. Information was taken for a report.
On 04/01/2011, Officer Dempsey responded to 3609 W. Park in reference to an assault. Officer Dempsey spoke with the victims, who stated that they were both hit by a half full soda can. The can was thrown by a white male, who had left the area prior to police arrival. Information was taken for a report.
On 04/02/2011, Officer Foley responded to a business in the 2500 block of MacArthur Dr. in reference to a Burglary. Officer Foley spoke with the owner, and she advised that someone had broken the window out of the front door of the business, and several items were missing. Information was taken for a report.
On 04/03/2011, Officer Foley responded to 3609 W. Park in reference to a disturbance. While speaking with the subjects involved, 23 year old Justin Martin was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and language, and transported to the Orange County Jail.
On 04/04/2011 Officer Roff responded to 3545 W. Park in reference to a Burglary. Officer Roff met with the complainant, who advised Officer Roff that someone had broken into his storage unit, and there were several items missing. Information was taken for a report.
On 04/05/2011 Officer Foley responded to 48 Elma in reference to a theft. The complainant advised Officer Foley that he had two spools of wire in his yard, and when he returned home form work. they were missing. Information was taken for a report.
