The Bridge City Lady Cardinal 7th grade track team took first place in the Dist. 21-3A Track and Field Championship on Thursday. The Lady Cardinals scored 149 total points. The West Orange Stark Lady Mustangs came in second place with 119 points followed by Orangefield, Hardin Jefferson, Hamshire-Fannett and Silsbee.

DISTRICT CHAMPION – Kaitlyn Smith- Long Jump
DISTRICT CHAMPION – Kaitlin Mott – Shot Put
DISTRICT CHAMPION – Faith Kaufman – 100m Hurdles
DISTRICT CHAMPIONS – Mile Relay – Hannah Carpenter, Faith Kaufman, Hannah Story and Samantha Holland

Placing 2nd in the District meet were:
