ORANGE, Texas – West Orange – Stark High School Career Center Precision machining student Ashton Lemoine won Best of Show for her project at the State Skills USA competition in Corpus Christi recently.

Fellow WO-S Career Center classmate Brian Blackshear, a Bridge City student, placed third in State in the precision machining Speed Skills competition.

Additionally, Blackshear, as well as Alvin Childress earned State blue ribbons for their projects.
WO-S High School Building Trades students Tyler Chandler, Ashley Hooper and Amber Carpenter also earned State blue ribbons for their projects.

Carlo Paulino is the WO-S High School precision machining instructor. Randy Palmero is the building trades instructor.
