Imogene Carlina Ericson, 89, of Orange passed away on Saturday, April 23, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. She was a native and life long resident of Orange; born on Nov. 16, 1921 to the late Carl W. Ericson Sr. and Ina Mae (Hudnall) Ericson.

Imogene graduated from Orange High School in 1938 as Valedictorian. She was a member of the Bengal Guards. She was an accomplished pianist; she gave concerts and played for the Presbyterian Chapel. She was a life long member of the First Presbyterian Church of Orange and was employed at Consolidated Steel for over 40 years in the payroll department.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl W. Ericson, Sr. and her sister, Joe Anne Ericson Smith.

She is survived by her brother, Carl W. Ericson, Jr. and wife Trudy of Hilltop Lakes, TX; brother in law, Clinton L. Smith and wife Vivien; nieces, Karen Ann Newcomb and husband Dan, Leigh Anne Saperstein and husband Phillip; nephews, Carl W. Ericson III and wife Anita, Clinton Smith Jr. and wife Mary Jo, Eric M. Smith and numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, at 10:00 am, at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Dorman Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Imogene C. Ericson to the Presbyterian Soup Kitchen.
