Thelma Breaux Kolasci, went to be with her gracious Lord and family on April 29. Born in Iowa, Louisiana to Oscar Breaux and Edna Miller Breaux on Jan. 5, 1924.

A graduate of Mauriceville High School and later graduating from nursing school as an LVN for Francis Ann Lutheran Hospital in Orange. She married Paul Kolasci Jr. on October 6, 1946 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orange.

Visitation was held at Trevino-Smith Funeral Home, 2610 S.Texas Ave., Monday, May 2, from 6-8pm . A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 10:30am, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bryan, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Paul Kolasci Jr .of Bryan; son; Paul Kolasci III of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Calvin S. Wade; grandson CalvinPaul “CP” and finance Brittney Finegan all of Bryan.

Brother and sister–In-Law, Moody and Judy Breaux of Orange; step-sisters in laws, Brenda and Carl Pettit of Bayton, and Naomi and Willard Maxwell of Sugarland., and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four Brothers, Alvin Breaux, Bill Breaux, Buster Breaux, Leo Breaux; five sisters, Janet Griffith, Stella Fuller, Della Burton, Elaine Lovaasen, and an infant baby sister.

Per family request in lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Msgr. John McCaffrey Scholarship Fund, or St. Joseph’s Folk Choir, 600 E. 26th, Bryan Tx 77803, Hospice Brazos Valley or charity of choice.
