The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is pleased to announce that Angela Christina Shepherd, of Bridge City, was recently initiated into the Phi Kappa Phi Chapter at McNeese State University, where she is studying Criminal Justice.

Shepherd is among approximately 30,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year.

Membership in Phi Kappa Phi is by invitation and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top ten percent of seniors and seven and a half percent of juniors are eligible for membership.

Shepherd, the daughter of Billy Shepherd, of Singer, La., and Glenda Dartez Roach of Bridge City, will graduate in May, 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice.
