Jennie Lou Trigg, 67, of Orange passed away on Monday, May 9, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Port Arthur. She was native of Arkansas City, Kansas; born March 7, 1944 to the late Lucas Romano and Maxine (Mayberry) Romano.

She was a life long resident of Orange and was a member Fortieth Street Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and traveling around the country to see her love ones. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly and she was everyone’s mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lucas Romano and grandson, George Alexander Trigg.

She is survived by her husband, George W. Trigg of Orange; daughters, Erika Trigg Gifford and husband Ken, Tucson, AZ, Georgiana Trigg of Houston; son Kyle Trigg of Fernandina Beach, FL; sister, Katherine Whitaker of Wewahitchka, FL; four granddaughters, Paige Trigg, Taylor Trigg, Emily Trigg and Bethany Gifford.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Dorman Funeral Home, with a funeral service held at 7:00 pm at the funeral home; with Jerral Kay, minister, officiating. Burial will be held on Friday, May 13, at 11:30 AM at Houston National Cemetery.
