Stolen vehicle found in parking lot

Wednesday afternoon, Officer Tim Pruitt with the Orange Police Dept., was dispatched to the 300 block of Lutcher Dr., in reference to a stolen vehicle. Constable Pct-2 Strouse located a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of a store.
Police found a 1998 Ford Mustang, with the hood up and the driver’s window down. The trunk was open and the keys were in the ignition.
The vehicle had been reported stolen through the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office in Lake Charles.
The vehicle was said to be found in poor condition.
