Thousands of Orange County citizens turned out at the polls today. While it is still a little early, the results are slowly coming in.

West Orange-Cove CISD

The West Orange-Cove Consolidated Independent School District School Board election results are as follows:

Tony Dallas took the lead with 561 votes, Andrews Hayes had 530 votes, Dr. Mary Hardin had 268 votes and Murrey Taggart had 160 votes.

The bond issue passed with 582 votes for it and 333 votes against it.

Litte Cypress-Mauriceville CISD

The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Colsolidated Independent School District School Board elections are as follows:

Marlene Courmier took the lead with 275 votes and Barry Bates had 39 votes.

Bridge City ISD

The Bridge City Independent School District School Board election results are as follows:

For Place 6: Mike Johnson took the lead with 307 votes; Mike Faulk had 215 votes; Jason "JP" Martin had 195 votes and Chris Thomas had 34 votes.

For Place 7: Mark Anderson took the lead with 493 votes while Dale Simmons had 246 votes.

City of Orange

The votes for the Orange City Council Election are in. They are as follows:

Annette Pernell took the lead with 52.70 percent of the vote, with 127, defeating Jimmy Sims who has 46.06 percent of the vote with 111 votes.
