Wednesday night, Officer Michael Roush, with the Orange Police Dept., responded to a disturbance call in the 400 block of Camellia. This was the second time that evening Officer Roush had responded to this address on a disturbance call.

Upon arrival, Officer Roush observed Patrick Dale Forsmo in the yard of the residence. Roush had spoken with Forsmo less than half an hour before, on the same call. As police approached Forsmo, he told them he had been drinking with his brothers.

Forsmo was observed to have glassy, water eyes, his speech was slurred and a strong smell of alcohol was on his person. Officer Roush believed Forsmo to be intoxicated and a danger to himself or others.

It was also the opinion of police that if Forsmo was left at the residence, another disturbance would take place. Forsmo was placed into custody and transported to the Orange County Jail, where he was booked on public intoxication charges.
