Students at Orangefield Elementary chose as their

last community project this year to collect money for the milk fund for

Orange Christian Services. They collected $1,220 in a six week period

with Miss Duncan’s Pre-K class bringing in

the most money at $196.04.

Mrs. Frazier’s class came in second

collecting $96.03 and Ms. Carrie Prouse’s fourth grade class came in a

close third at $95.50. All three classes were treating to ice cream

Miss. Duncan’s class is pictured presenting the

check to Dwayne Duncan a volunteer at OCS who goes and buys the milk

each week for OCS.

He is also the father of Miss Duncan. He spoke to

the class about his job duties at OCS and how the money would help buy

milk for area children through the summer.
