Dorothy Jean Thibodeaux of Orange, Texas died June 24, at St. Luke Hospital in Houston, after a short illness.

Mrs. Thibodeaux was a life long resident of Orange and a faithful member of Living Waters Missionary Baptist Church where she served in many auxiliaries. She was very active in the community and loved by many loved ones and friends. She always took time out with elderly in the community, where ever needed.

Home going celebration will be at 11:00 am Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church, located at 106 W. Park St. in Orange, where Ronnie A. E. Crockett is pastor. The Rev. James Williams pastor of Living Waters Missionary Baptist Church will officiate.

Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 am until time of service. Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories a special friend, Murphy Stewart of Houston; son, Milford Batchan Jr. of Orange; daughter, Sonja Thibodeaux Jones (Alfred) of Orange; two grandchildren, Milford Batchan III (Trey) and DeAndre Jones both of Orange; and a host of family and friends.
