BC Jr. All Stars win sectionals

The 13-14 year old Jr.’s All-Star softball team headed to the state tournament. The girls took care of business Sunday night against Silsbee winning 14-3. They are undefeated in two tournaments, holding their opponents to nine runs and scoring 51 runs in tournament play.

This group of girls won state in 2007 and placed 2nd in 2009 losing to Edna who advanced to the Little League World Series, which is the dream of every kid that plays Little League.

They are two tournaments away from reaching that dream.

State is held in Seguin starting July 23. The winner will advance to the Regional tournament in Midland. The LLWS is held in Kirkland, Washington.
