Houston man arrested for three separate robberies

Shortly after 7:00 pm, Wednesday, officers with the Orange Police Dept. responded to the 1400 block of 10th St., in reference to an aggravated robbery. John’s Seafood, 1410 N. 10th St., was robbed by a black male.

A description of the suspect was given by the victim, and broadcast by police dispatch. When officers arrived on the scene, officers were informed by citizens that a black male was seen fleeing the area on foot. The suspect was later located in the area, but ran from officers.

After a brief foot pursuit, police apprehended the suspect, who was identified as 26 year old Earnest Ralph Giron, Jr., of Houston Giron was found to be in possession of a weapon believed to be used in the robbery.

The suspect was charged with aggravated robbery, felony evading detention and is in custody at the Orange County Jail.

Earlier in the day, police were dispatched to Orange Beauty Supply, 1101 W. Park, and also to 1102 W. Park, which is J.V.’s Seafood, in reference to aggravated robberies.

The suspect in custody is believed to be involved in all three aggravated robberies.

The investigation is ongoing and is being handled by the Orange Police Detective Division. Orange police were assisted at the scene by officers from the West Orange and Pinehurst Police Departments, and the Orange County Sherriff’s Dept.
