Cub Scout Pack 287, from Groves, completed a Basic Aid Training class, last Saturday, provided by Mrs.. Loken from the Orange Chapter of the American Red Cross. The boys learned how to be prepared for emergency situations, like animal bites, choking, cuts, fires, and overall emergencies.

Pictured is Mrs. Loken, John Cooper and Gavin Rios, practicing giving aid for someone choking. With Hurricane Season upon us and in everyday life, this was a great lesson for the young boys of our pack. The Cub Scout Pack 87 would like to give a big “Thank You” to Mrs. Loken and the Orange Chapter of the American Red Cross and congratualte the boys who completed their training.
