The Record Newspapers - Hometown News For Orange County, Texas

This past week, five WO-S journalism students attended MediaMania Yearbook Training in Dallas. All five came back with awards.

Yearbook Editor Alayna Jacobs, Managing YB Editor Kylie Hughes and LaKendrick Hughes received an Excellence in Yearbook award for their completed project. The project included creating a theme and developing it, designing and presenting a story board that exhibits the theme, “We are...mustangs.”

Channing Doyle received an Excellence in Newspaper award for a column that she wrote and Newspaper Editor in Training Casey Chapman won an award for his inside newspaper design.
