Tuesday afternoon at 3:08 PM, officers with the Orange Police Department responded to The Oaks Apartments, located at 111 Pine Ave., in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival Officers found a 30 year old male with a gunshot wound to the torso.

He was conscious and alert, and was taken to Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Orange, where he was reportedly treated and released.

The person who fired the weapon, and a witness were interviewed at the Orange Police Department.

At this time no arrests have been made pending the completion of the investigation.
