Ralph Glenn Johnson, 83 formerly of Crossett, Ar., passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

He was a resident of Port Arthur for the last seven years. He was born in Bradley County Arkansas on April 2, 1928. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and he retired from the Georgia-Pacific Paper Corporation.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Johnson, one brother, Charles Johnson and one sister, Ruth White.

He is survived by his daughter, Glenda Perry and husband Tony of Orange; his son, Glenn A. Johnson and wife Janet of Port Neches; four grandchildren; Staci Boyett, Lena Perry, Jeremy Johnson, and Blake Johnson. Two great grandchildren, Noah and Cameron Boyett. Two brothers, Sonny Johnson and Joe Fred Johnson; five sisters, Martha Craig, Ann Mullins, Faye Holcomb, Sue Lee, and Maye Mullins, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to remember his life will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, Aug. 20, in the Chapel of Dorman Funeral Home in Orange, with Minister Chris Eppler of the Mauriceville Church of Christ, conducting.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 10:00 AM until service time.
