John Raymond Vigil, 49, of Milton , Fla. formerly of Orange passed away on Saturday, Aug. 13.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m. at Dorman Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends from 2 p.m. until service time. The family will hold a private burial at a later date.

He was a native of Valdosta, Ga.; born on May 11, 1962, to parents Bernice L. Forte and Raymond A. Vigil. He had lived the last seven years in Florida and lived in the Orange area from 1967 until 1985.

He enjoyed golfing, playing his guitar, listening to music, watching old movies and he was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend who will be missed dearly.

His is survived by his father, Raymond A. Vigil and wife, Hortensia of Mansfield, La.; mother, Bernice L. Vigil of Milton, Fla.; daughters, Courtney Perry and husband, Chance of Orange, Candice Vigil of Orange, Jennifer Vigil of Willis, Texas; son, Jacob Vigil of Spring, Texas; sisters, Judy Wilson and husband, Derric of Lumberton, Gail Tully and husband, George of Henderson, Diane Atwell and husband, Mike of Milton, Fla; brother, Ray Vigil and wife, Paige of Gainesville, Fla; granddaughter, Kadence Perry and numerous nieces and nephews.
