Officers from the Pinehurst Police Department responded to the following calls between Sept. 27, and Oct. 8:

Sept. 27, a black male was arrested for Public Intoxication in the 1200 block of 28th Street;

Sept. 29, a white male was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the 3800 block of Pheasant in Pinehurst;

Oct. 1, a burglary was reported at a business on Lexington Drive in Pinehurst;

Oct. 1,A white male, who is a convicted felon, was arrested following a traffic stop in the 3900 block of W. Park, after he was found to be in possession of two handguns;

Oct. 3, a white female reported that a former room mate stole property from her at her residence in the 3600 block of Optimist Way;

Oct. 4, a white female was arrested for an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 3100 block of E. Martin;

Oct. 4,A black male was arrested for an outstanding Parole Warrant during his visit at the Orange County Parole Office located at 851 Dal Sasso Drive in Pinehurst;

Oct. 5, a white female was arrested for an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Strickland Drive;

Oct. 5, a burglary of a residence was reported in the 2400 block of 41st Street in Pinehurst;

Oct. 6, a complainant in the 3800 block of Pheasant reported that his 16 year old son had left home without permission. He was later located at the school that he attends;

Oct. 8, a residential burglary was reported in the 3200 block of Lancelot. Items taken during the burglary include a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette that had been parked in the garage as well as several televisions.
