Officers from the Pinehurst Police Department responded to the following calls between Oct. 10, and Oct. 20:

Oct. 10, Officer M. Dempsey recovered a stolen weed trimmer that had been taken in for repairs at a rental company in the 1600 block of Strickland Dr.

Oct. 11, Officer B. Foley received a report of a stolen 5th wheel trailer hitch in the 2000 block of 35th St.

Oct. 12, Officer M. Dempsey responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of 28th St. The actor was issued a criminal trespass warning and made to leave the property.

Oct. 15, Officer B. Foley responded to the city park located on West Park in Pinehurst in reference to a disturbance. The actor, Matthew Ray Robbins, a 37 year old white male, was arrested for terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct. He was transported to the Orange County Jail for booking.

Oct. 17, Officer L. Roff responded to a three vehicle accident in the 2400 block of MLK Dr. One person was transported to Memorial Herman Baptist Hospital for treatment.

Oct. 18, Officer M. Dempsey responded to an apartment complex in the 3600 block of Optimist Way in reference to credit card abuse. The complainant stated that a family member stole her credit card and used it at various locations in Orange County.

Oct. 18, Officer M. Dempsey received a report of a burglary that occurred at a trailer park in the 3800 block of Pheasant Dr. Taken during the burglary was an Xbox 360 game console and game.

Oct. 18, Officer Dempsey responded to a residence in the 3400 block of W. Martin in reference to criminal trespass. A criminal trespass warning was issued to a 32 year old black male, and he was made to leave the residence.

Oct. 18, Lt. K. Reneau responded to a disturbance in the 1700 block of N.37th St . The actor, a 49 year old white male identified as James Sonnier, was arrested for public intoxication after he staggered into the roadway.

Oct. 19, Lt. Reneau met with a complainant at the Pinehurst Police Department in reference to an assault. A white female reported that she was assaulted by her common-law spouse on Oct. 15. Charges are pending in the Pinehurst Municipal Court.

Oct. 19, Officer L. Roff responded to the 1500 block of Strickland Drive in reference to a theft. The complainant stated that someone removed the tailgate cap from his 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck. The cap is valued at $150.

Oct. 20, Officer L. Roff responded to the 1900 block of Strickland Drive in reference to a private property accident. An elderly male damaged three vehicles, including his own after he accelerated over a curb and struck two vehicles and some landscaping. No charges were filed against the driver.
