Hager Max Davis, 64, of Deweyville passed away on Friday, Oct. 21, at his residence.

He was a native of Beaumont; born on Oct. 23, 1946 to parents Maxine (Bickham) and Earnest Hager Davis. He has been a life long resident of Deweyville and was a member of United Methodist Church of Deweyville.

He was employed at Southeast Texas Industrial Service as an Estimator/Project Manager. He loved going golfing and hunting, but his great joy in life was spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Hager Davis and mother, Maxine Bickham Davis.

He is survived by his wife Linda (Stansbury) Davis of Deweyville; daughter, Rebecca Edwards and husband, Joey of Deweyville; sons, James Paul Davis and wife, Toni of Deweyville, Corey Lynn Davis and wife, Carla of Deweyville; brothers, Paul Reed and wife, Elizabeth of Virginia, Richard Davis and wife Carolyn of Dallas, Joe Bob Davis and wife, Carolyn of Mauriceville.

Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Bryceson Davis, Karli Davis, Garrett Davis, Jillian Davis, Nickolus Edwards, Sydney Edwards and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 24, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Dorman Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas Caldwell officiating.

Burial will follow at King Cemetery in Hartburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Paul Davis, Corey Davis, Joey Edwards, Bryceson Davis, Garrett Davis and Nickolus Edwards.
