Orange police were dispatched Monday morning to the Honey Stop, located at 1012 W. Park in reference to a theft.

Upon arrival, Officer Troy Tyson made contact with the complainant, who told him that he opened the store at about 8:00 am.

At approximately 8:53 am, a white male entered the store and asked for ten lottery tickets. The clerk told police he placed the tickets on the counter and went to get another item the man asked for.

When he turned to retrieve the item, the suspect picked up the lottery tickets and ran out of the store.

The clerk told police that he would press charges on behalf of the store if a suspect is found.

The value of the lottery ticlets was $120.
