Orange police responded to a family violence call early Tuesday morning in the 2100 block of Allie Payne. Officer Marcus Bernard arrived on the scene at approximately 5:25 am, and made contact with the victim, a 29 year old Orange woman, who told him that a known male came to her residence at approximately 4:45 am.

The man made contact with the victim to try to talk to her about issues that they have been having. A brief argument ensued and the victim decided to go back inside her home through the garage.

The attacker became angry about the discussion and grabbed the woman’s head from behind and slammed her into the interior garage wall. Officer Bernard observed the woman’s eye to be red and swollen, and also that as time progressed, the swelling becoming worse.

The victim told police that she wishes to press charges against the man.
