Orange police are investigating a sexual assault against a child after an Orange woman met with them at the police station on behalf of her child.

Police responded to a home on Ridgemont Tuesday and met with a complainant who told them a patient had made an outcry against her grandmother’s boyfriend. The victim said that she had been touched inappropriately .

While speaking with the complainant, the responding officer was advised by dispatch that the mother of the victim, and the victim were at the police department wishing to pursue charges in regards to the incident.

Upon arrival at the Police Dept., the officer spoke with the victim and her mother. The mother of the victim reiterated the occurrence to officers in the same way the complainant had at the Ridgemont address.

The victim’s mother stated she wishes to pursue charges on behalf of her child against all those involved in this incident. CPS was also notified of the incident.
