LC-M High School receives national award

Little Cypress-Mauriceville has won a national award from the Special Olympics. The school was named an “Ideal Inclusion School”.

A representative with Special Olympics will travel from Washington, DC, to LC-M High School’s Bear Stadium to present the award during “Bear Bowl“.

The second annual Bear Bowl, a game where varsity players team up with Team Force (Life Skills) students to play flag football, will be at 6:00 pm, Dec. 1. Admission is free.

Students may also participate with cheerleaders, the grizzly crew, drill team and band as well.

The public is invited for this event to honor, and show support for the work of the school’s teacher/student team.
