Wednesday, Dec. 14, Officer Kelly Griffin was dispatched to the 900 block of Cooper in reference to criminal mischief.

Upon arrival, at about 7:27 am, Officer Griffin made contact with the victim, Rodney Jolivette.

Jolivette advised he parked his vehicle in front of his residence the previous evening. When the victim walked to his vehicle Wednesday morning, he found that somebody had scratched all sides of the vehicle with an unknown sharp object.

Jolivette stated that he thinks somebody tried to get into the car, because the driver’s window was pulled out, although it didn’t appear anybody had made entry.

Police observed scratches to both doors, hood and trunk areas.
