Orange man killed in motorcycle accident
A 58 year old Orange man was killed over the weekend when he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding, and hit a telephone pole.
Dean Simmons was pronounced dead at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas by Justice of the Peace, Tom Gillam.
Simmons was riding northbound in the 6000 block of Roosevelt in Port Arthur. The road makes a hard left turn inside a curve that turns into 60th St.; Simmons missed the curve and hit the telephone pole.
Simmons was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
